Like you, we care about what we put on our table. Our happy cows are grass fed, plus we add some our own special grain mix. The result is tastier, nutrient rich beef.
The price per lb (hanging weight) is $7.89/lb.
If you would like to have additional processing such as smoking, patties, and/or sausages, additional fees will apply.
Place your order for farm fresh HALF OR WHOLE beef and your family will be set for the season! We will email you an order form closer to the butcher date to customize your order.
Note: Hanging Weight
When an animal is harvested, its weight is measured before it is processed into different cuts of meat. If you prefer to have more ground beef and boneless cuts, and do not want the bones or organ meat, the final weight of the meat you receive will be less than the animal’s original weight. Additionally, there may be some weight loss due to the curing process and trimming of the meat.

We’re very happy buying local and we value that it reduces the environmental impact of transporting meat long distances.

About Us
Hi there! Welcome to the Sao Miguel family farm, right here in beautiful Verner, Ontario! We’re Frank and Sheron Pacheco, and we run the farm alongside our nine children: Amelia, Shenia, John, Michael, Nicholas, Paolo, Natividade, Sebastiao, and Christopher.
Our primary goal is to grow and raise healthy food for our family and community. We are passionate about maintaining a regenerative balance between nature and farm life. We aim to keep our soil and animals natural and as happy as possible, ensuring that both will flourish.
We take pride in providing our community with fresh, wholesome, and nutrient-dense food that contributes to a healthier and more sustainable way of living.
On our farm, we raise a variety of animals, including cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. We also grow our own food and make our own butter, chutney, and even cheese! We work hard to harvest the best that nature provides.
We are excited about the opportunity to provide nourishing food to our community. If you have any questions about our farm, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We look forward to connecting with you!
Warm regards,
Frank & Sheron
